CENTRAL DISTRICT, Seidaikei (DFNS) - Co-President Migs Caldeo of the Daikoku Federation made a Speech to the Federation in behalf of the Presidency of the Daikoku Federation on Wednesday evening.
Below is the full text of the speech: "Dear peoples of our Daikoku Federation and fellow comrades in the micronational community. For the past few days, the Republic of Kaleido has been carrying out distasteful and reckless actions that threatens the security and sovereignty of our Daikoku Federation and the peace and stability in the Philippine region as they continue to forcefully assert what they call as the One Philippine Micronation Policy. The Republic of Kaleido continues to assert their questionable foreign policy on the reason that they aim to restore peace and stability in the Philippine region and that they wish to strengthen diplomatic relations with micronations in the same region. The One Philippine Micronation Policy, however, has brought negative results than positive ones as it raised tensions between micronations in the Philippine region. This proves that the questionable One Philippine Micronation Policy is nothing more than an instrument of the Republic of Kaleido to advance its illegitimate interests against micronations in the Philippine region, thus threatening their security and sovereignty and creating a grave situation in the region. It also proves that the Republic of Kaleido is not aiming for reconciliation, but towards aggression and conflict in order to demonstrate that it is superior than all micronations in the region. The Republic of Kaleido should realize that it can never wield great influence over the micronations in the Philippine region. They should learn that micronations which have attempted to do so have failed, and have lead to the self-destruction of their nation. Also, they should realize that their fiasco with their questionable One Philippine Micronation Policy is making them a laughing stock in micronations outside the Philippine region. They should also realize that peace and stability in the region was never compromised in the first place, and that the reason why they think so is because their own illegitimate interests were not served. The Republic of Kaleido issued a statements on the 12th and 16th of January, which was full of words attacking the role of our Daikoku Federation in maintaining peace and stability in the Philippine region. They blasted in their state media statements which said that our Daikoku Federation is "very exaggerated" in declaring a state of emergency, that our Daikoku Federation is "scared of words", and that our Daikoku Federation has been committing "unacceptable actions" and "rash behavior" as our Federation "does not respect the offerings" of the Republic of Kaleido. Our Daikoku Federation would like to make it clear that the state of emergency was declared in order to defend the sovereignty of our Federation against the Republic of Kaleido's questionable One Philippine Micronation Policy. Also, our declaration of a state of emergency is not an exaggerated response as it is only natural for states to prepare their people for the defense of their country against acts of aggression by foreign states. Most of all, our Daikoku Federation would not be scared of plain words coming from the Republic of Kaleido, as this is nothing more than gibberish to our peoples. They should remember that our Daikoku Federation is a strong and victorious nation, with its peoples ready to defend their homeland no matter the cost. It would be reckless and distasteful for the Republic of Kaleido to accuse our Daikoku Federation as detrimental to the achievement of peace and stability in the Philippine region. The Republic of Kaleido can never say that we disrespected their offer of reconciliation as they have also declined on several occasions the goodwill of our Daikoku Federation to their nation. We have tried several times to offer reconciliation with the Republic of Kaleido only to get replies of our manner of diplomacy is "unprofessional", our rightful response to the aggressive actions is "aggressive" to their nation, and we have done nothing for the sake of peace and stability in the region. They have also taken actions to slander against our Federation through the manipulation of the opinions of their citizens, therefore, creating a villain out of our Federation and our rightful actions. Our Daikoku Federation have initially ignored these actions by the Republic of Kaleido, but as they continue these reckless and distasteful actions over time, it has become a threat not only to our Federation but to the entire Philippine region as it may lead to a state of destabilization. As a result, the path to reconciliation is being hindered and it is quickly turning into an impossible objective for our Daikoku Federation. Our Daikoku Federation, even from the start, has always been on the path towards peace in the region. We are willing to settle all disputes with the Republic of Kaleido through peaceful means. But, it is the Republic of Kaleido's decision whether they would accept it or not. Our Daikoku Federation is willing to restart negotiations with the Republic of Kaleido if they decide to scrap the questionable One Philippine Micronation Policy. We would also like to forward a proposal that prohibits both our Daikoku Federation and the Republic of Kaleido from issuing negative statements against each other in order to create an environment between our nations for dialogue and reconciliation. We call on the Republic of Kaleido to accept our terms for a peaceful environment for micronations in the Philippine region. We believe that this diplomatic stand-off comes to an end, as neither nations would gain anything if this conflict is prolonged. If the Republic of Kaleido, however, decides to reject our offer and remains on the offensive against our Daikoku Federation, it should be ready for the grave consequences their foolish action would make. They should remember that our peoples are united under the banner of our Federation, ready to defend its territory, its sovereignty and its achievements in the course of state building in our Daikoku Federation. We shall not hesitate to defend our nation with all our strength until the aggressors meet humiliating defeat and complete victory is achieved by our Federation."
