24 July 2015 (LEQUIA, Namayan) - Darwin Eugenio, prime minister of the Rajahanate of Namayan, issued a statement on 21 July on the government transition in Daikoku, the Namayan News Agency reported.
In his statement, Prime Minister Eugenio congratulated the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku on its peaceful and successful transition of government. He added that the Namayan government is confident that the Daikoku government is led by leaders who are competent and loyal to Namayan. Prime Minister Eugenio ended his statement by saying that the Namayan government supports the National Council of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku.

23 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - The National Council voted on Tuesday to introduce national symbols for the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku.
The National Council Act 3 or the Act on the National Symbols of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku introduced a national flag, emblem and anthem. The national flag is a horizontal bicolor consisting of the colors yellow and green, with its proportional ratio set at 2:3. The same flag was also used as the national flag for the previous governments of the Republic of Daikoku and the Principality of Daikoku. The national emblem is a shield containing the colors of the national flag with a mural crown. The design originated from the national emblem used by the Republic of Daikoku, which included stalks of wheat surrounding the shield and an inscription containing the name of the previous government. The national anthem is Our Daikoku which was previously used as the national anthem of the Daikoku Federation. The lyrics were a version introduced by Migs Caldeo in August 2014, and its music originated from the North Korean song "Song of General Kim Il Sung" that was composed by Kim Won Gyun. 23 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - The National Council voted on Tuesday to approve a new act on citizenship of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku.
The National Council Act No. 2 or the Act on the Citizenship of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku lists down the conditions in order to be recognized as a Daikoku citizen, the conditions for acquiring Daikoku citizenship at birth, the conditions for applying for Daikoku citizenship through naturalization and the conditions for losing Daikoku citizenship. The Act also states that all Daikoku citizens regardless of their place of residence are eligible for assistance from the Daikoku government, as well as from the Rajahnate of Namayan since Daikoku citizens are also recognized as Namayan citizens. It also allows Daikoku citizen to keep their macronational nationalities and to have multiple citizenships. The Act gives power to the National Council to decide on all issues related to Daikoku citizenship. In accordance to the National Council Act No. 2, Migs Caldeo, President of the National Council, issued Decree No. 1 on Thursday which recognized three people as Daikoku based on the conditions of the Act. 21 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - This is the full text of the National Council Act No. 3. This act shall go into effect on 22 July 2015. ARTICLE 1 This Act of the National Council of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall determine the national symbols of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku. ARTICLE 2 The following shall be recognized as citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku: (1) Those who were citizens of the Republic of Daikoku and the Principality of Daikoku and have confirmed their citizenship of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku on 22 July 2015, and (2) Those who are naturalized under the laws of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku and the Rajahnate of Namayan. ARTICLE 3 (1) Citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall be eligible to receive assistance from the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku regardless of their place of residence. (2) All citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall also be citizens of the Rajahnate of Namayan and shall also be eligible to receive assistance from the Rajahnate of Namayan. ARTICLE 4 The following shall be recognized as citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku through birth: (1) Those who were born to parents who are both citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku, (2) Those who were born to parents where one is a citizen of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku and the other is a foreign citizen or a stateless person, and (3) Those who were abandoned at birth and were taken under the care of either the citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku or the government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku. ARTICLE 5 The following foreign citizens or stateless persons shall be eligible to become a citizen of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku through naturalization: (1) Those who are able to communicate in English or Filipino, (2) Those who are at the age of 16 and have good character, and (3) Those who have not plotted or advocated against the governments of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku and the Rajahnate of Namayan. ARTICLE 6 Citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall lose the citizenship of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku through the following: (1) Those who have declared to have renounced their citizenship of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku considering that they are at the age of 17, (2) Those who are at the age of 16 and below and whose parents have lost the citizenship of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku, (3) Those who have intentionally acquired citizenship or nationalization of a foreign state that is not recognized or that is in conflict with the Rajahnate of Namayan, and (4) Those who have rendered services for a foreign state unless approved by the Rajahnate of Namayan. ARTICLE 7 The nationality of the citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall be in accordance to the existing nationality laws of their respective macronations of origin or to international laws in the case of stateless persons. ARTICLE 8 Citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall be allowed to have multiple citizenships. ARTICLE 9 All issues regarding the citizenship of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku shall be decided through a decision of the National Council of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku. 17 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - This is the full text of the Royal Rescript on Our Renunciation of the Throne of Our State. ROYAL RESCRIPT ON OUR RENUNCIATION OF THE THRONE OF OUR STATE We, the PRINCE OF DAIKOKU, issue this royal rescript in order to announce to Our subjects, to the Rajah of Namayan and to Their nation, and to foreign states that We have decided on the following concerning Our renunciation of the Throne of Our State and the provisions in relation to this. We have decided that We shall renounce the Throne of Our State and all of the powers attached to the positions of Prince of Daikoku, Duke of Nakatani, Duke of Kitakyo, Duke of Seidaikei and Representative of the Rajah of Namayan in the Principality of Daikoku. We have decided that We shall not appoint a successor to the Throne of Our State and that We shall dissolve the Principality of Daikoku and all institutions related to this government. We have decided that the National Council of the Democratic Republic of Daikoku shall be given the responsibility of continuing the affairs of Our state and representing the interests of Our subjects, who shall follow and support this new government. This royal rescript is made into law throughout Our State for the implementation of its contents by Our subjects through Our signature affixed at the city of Nakatani on the 17th day of the 7th month of the 1st year of Masamune, corresponding to the 4th year of Our State and to the 2015th year in the Christian era in the Gregorian calendar. NATIONAL COUNCIL OF THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF DAIKOKU ACT NO. 1 On the Establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku The National Council of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku has decided, in accordance to the interests of the people and to the prevailing situation in our nation, that we shall restore the democratic rule in Daikoku through a republic under our administration from the capital city of Nakatani through the establishment of the state to be known as the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku, in accordance to the status of Daikoku as an autonomous territory under the Rajahnate of Namayan.
This act shall take effect on 17 July 2015 at 20:00 hours. This act was approved unanimously in the city of Nakatani in the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku on 17 July 2015 at 19:40 hours. 17 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - The National Council unanimously approved an act on Friday declaring the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku as the former government under the Principality of Daikoku was dissolved.
"The National Council of the Democratic People’s Republic of Daikoku has decided, in accordance to the interests of the people and to the prevailing situation in our nation, that we shall restore the democratic rule in Daikoku through a republic under our administration from the capital city of Nakatani through the establishment of the state to be known as the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku, in accordance to the status of Daikoku as an autonomous territory under the Rajahnate of Namayan," the act stated which was approved at 19:40 hours and went into effect at 20:00. Earlier in the day, Prince Masamune issued a royal rescript where he declared his abdication as Prince of Daikoku, dissolved the principality and announced support for a new government under the National Council. The Prince, now using his non-regnal name of Migs Caldeo, was later elected President of the National Council, which is a three-member council vested with executive, legislative and judicial powers in Daikoku. The act lead to the restoration of democratic and republican rule following the brief administration of the Principality of Daikoku, which was declared on 7 May of this year. The National Council is set to implement reforms in Daikoku in the hopes of ending the inactivity plaguing the micronation since late last year. The Rajahnate of Namayan is yet to issue a statement on the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku. |
