TAKEBE, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Daikoku Federation celebrated the Day of Military Glory on Friday.
The Day of Military Glory commemorates the victory of the joint forces of the loyalist Urbonian forces and the Treisian Internal Defense Forces against the coup plotters against the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia in Operation Nadeko. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation issued a decree that promoted officers in the Federal Defense Forces to the rank of unit commander, as part of the celebrations for the Day of Military Glory. The following officers were promoted to the rank of unit commander:
The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation also issued a decree awarding Military Operations Honor "Nadeko" to the all the units of the State Military of Treisia and the 2nd South Urbonian Guards Regiment. Military Operations Honor "Misaka" was also given to all the units of the State Military of Treisia to commemorate Operation Misaka in August 2013. The Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia conferred President Migs Caldeo the award of "Hero of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia" for his leadership during the defense of the Republic during the attempted coup d'etat from February 21 until 28, 2013. The Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia also conferred the award of "Hero of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia" to General Jeremy Gabriel Celespara to commemorate his role in Operation Nadeko.
