TAKEBE, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Federal Defense Force of the Daikoku Federation revealed a plan on Monday to create a navy by resurfacing all Imperial Japanese Navy ships sunk in the Philippines during the Second World War. "We have come up with a plan to create a navy at par with the world's navies by resurfacing all warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy that sunk in the territorial waters of the Philippines during the Second World War," a general in the Federal Defense Force said in a statement. "We also plan to modernize these ships and crew them with completely cute girls," he added. When asked why the ships are to be crewed by cute girls, the general responded: "It has been proven that the defeat of an enemy force is largely based on firepower and cuteness." The plan has already received funding from the Daikoku federal government, with battleships Musashi and Yamashiro, destroyer Shimakaze, and aircraft carrier Zuikaku being resurfaced and modernized by the end of the year. This has been the most ambitious plan of the Federal Defense Force so far. It has been reported last year that it plans to create ten mechanized divisions that are fully armed with Soviet-era main battle tanks crewed with schoolgirls. It was also reported that the Federal Defense Force was planning to create a weapon of mass destruction using the power of cuteness.
