KITAKYO (DFNS) - Typhoon Ramassun ravaged the Daikoku Federation as it passed near the nation on Wednesday morning.
The eye of Typhoon Ramassun passed 25 kilometers south of the Daikoku Federation at 7 am Wednesday local time with winds reaching up to 185 kph. The typhoon had previously made landfall at the Bicol region in the Republic of the Philippines on Tuesday evening and had moved through the southern Luzon region towards the Daikoku Federation. Typhoon Ramassun hit the Daikoku Federation with heavy rain and strong winds for 3 hours, before moving towards the East Philippine Sea by noon. The typhoon left considerable damages in the Daikoku Federation. Power was lost in most areas in the Daikoku Federation. While power was restored to some areas by afternoon, areas such as Euthenburg and Halyden in Treisia, and Nakatani District in Urbonia are still without power as of writing. In the capital city Kitakyo, large numbers of trees have reportedly fell. Communications were also lost, with the Daikoku Federation still attempting to make contact with the Kingdom of Treisia as of writing. Meanwhile, in the Republic of the Philippines, ten people have reportedly died in the typhoon and there were also damages to property. It had also forced all classes and work to be suspended in the Philippine capital Manila.
