The Ariano Chairperson Extraordinary signed a decree setting the dissolution of the State of Ariana on 29 September due to fears of "antagonizing the Republic of the Philippines." Ariano Chairperson Extraordinary Tinyente signed a decree on 10 September which sets the dissolution of the State of Ariana on 29 September, Balitang Ariana reported.
The sudden move to dissolve the State of Ariana was due to the conclusion that "it is not beyond doubt that micronationalism will always be in stark contrast with [macronations]," Balitang Ariana stated in its dispatch. Balitang Ariana also quoted his statement on his decision saying: "What good is it to be labeled as the Father of Contemporary Filipino Micronationalism [or] the Top Micronationalist of the Philippines if your micronation's very existence antagonizes the Republic [of the Philippines]?" "[The Republic of the Philippines] can wipe out the micronation within 24 hours. [I]n what position are you to stop it amidst your many titles," added Tinyente. According to the released text of the decree, it stated that the dissolution of the State of Ariana was due to fears of committing rebellion, sedition and disloyalty, illegal assemblies and associations, public disorder and usurpation against the Republic of the Philippines. The decree to dissolve the State of Ariana may still be overturned as, according to the Ariano constitution, 66% of the micronation's real citizens may vote to disapprove the decree.
