The unveiling of the new logo and party policies of the Daikoku Social People's Party coincides with the Day of Socialism, which commemorates the establishment of the National People's Party of San Andreas and the start of the socialist movement in the Daikoku Federation. The Daikoku Social People's Party unveiled its new logos and party policies today as the Daikoku Federation is set to commemorate the Day of Socialism on 12 September.
The Day of Socialism commemorates the establishment of the National People's Party of San Andreas, which is the origin of the Daikoku Social People's Party. It also commemorates the role socialism has played in the development of the Daikoku Federation. In a statement, the Daikoku Social People's Party said: "The unveiling of the new logos and party policies of the Daikoku Social People's Party was done in order to revitalize our political party as the Daikoku Federation enters into a new era under a new Constitution." The new logos of the DSPP still maintains the use of the hammer, sickle and brush, which has come to symbolize socialism in the Daikoku Federation. The new logos now uses both the English and Filipino names of the DSPP. Meanwhile, the new party policies introduces five principles, which the DSPP has identified as the following:
The Daikoku Social People's Party is the currently the only political party in the Daikoku Federation. The DSPP and its predecessor, the Daikoku People's Front, have successfully maintained in power by winning all of the seats in the Federal Assembly and securing seats in the government ministries since June 2013. The DSPP is expected to participate and field its candidates for the first parliamentary election under the new Constitution scheduled on 1 October.
