23 July 2015 (NAKATANI, Daikoku) - The National Council voted on Tuesday to introduce national symbols for the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku.
The National Council Act 3 or the Act on the National Symbols of the Democratic People's Republic of Daikoku introduced a national flag, emblem and anthem. The national flag is a horizontal bicolor consisting of the colors yellow and green, with its proportional ratio set at 2:3. The same flag was also used as the national flag for the previous governments of the Republic of Daikoku and the Principality of Daikoku. The national emblem is a shield containing the colors of the national flag with a mural crown. The design originated from the national emblem used by the Republic of Daikoku, which included stalks of wheat surrounding the shield and an inscription containing the name of the previous government. The national anthem is Our Daikoku which was previously used as the national anthem of the Daikoku Federation. The lyrics were a version introduced by Migs Caldeo in August 2014, and its music originated from the North Korean song "Song of General Kim Il Sung" that was composed by Kim Won Gyun.
