Migs Caldeo, President of the Republic of Daikoku, made an address on Friday night on the current situation in the Republic of Daikoku.
"Citizens of the Republic of Daikoku, "We woke up last Monday to find ourselves in a now completely different nation. Our Daikoku Federation no longer exists and the fraternal Treisian people voted to dissolve their nation. These came as a shock to our nation and people as never did we imagine that our Federation would come to a grinding halt. "I, too, was at shock and disbelief when it had become apparent that the Daikoku Federation needed to be dissolved. However, I respect the decision that we at the Federal Presidency, the Federal Assembly and the Treisian people had reached since it was in the best interest of the nation and the people. "I extend my deepest gratitude to the former King Karlos of Treisia and his people for their cooperation and effort in developing the Daikoku Federation. "Dear citizens, "We now find ourselves in a new chapter in the history of our nation and people. What remains of our once great Federation have rallied and united in a new nation, the nation that we now call as the Republic of Daikoku. "I now call every Daikoku citizen to create a new future for our new nation and to strive for a prosperous and victorious nation. "We should turn our sadness and worries at the fate of our Federation into strength to reach the aspirations of our Republic in this new chapter in nation building. "We should also learn from our past experiences in the course of building our Federation and use the lessons that we have learned to fully utilize the new opportunities opened by our Republic in order to build a stronger Daikoku nation. "Dear citizens, "I believe that we shall overcome the challenges posed by these sudden events in our nation, and that we shall achieve great victories that would forever shine in the history of our nation. "I wish all the best for this Republic and its great people."
