We, the PRINCE OF DAIKOKU, issue this royal rescript in order to announce to Our subjects, to the Rajah of Namayan and to Their nation to whom We pledge our loyalty, and to foreign nations that We have decided on the following concerning the status of Our Daikoku state, in accordance to Our own will. We have decided that We can no longer maintain the current system of government enforced in Our State and have, therefore, decided to dissolve the Republic of Daikoku. We have decided that We shall institute an absolute monarchy as the system of government that shall be enforced in Our State. We declare that the official name of Our State shall be the Principality of Daikoku and it shall represent the interests of Our subjects. We declare that the provisions of the Treaty Between the Governments of the Republic of Daikoku and the Rajahnate of Namayan on the Admission of the Republic of Daikoku as an Autonomous Republic of the Rajahnate of Namayan that was signed between the concerned parties on the 1st day of the 2nd month of the 4th year of Our State, corresponding to the year 2015 in the Gregorian calendar, shall remain in effect with the Principality of Daikoku as signatory instead of the Republic of Daikoku and that Our State shall remain loyal to the Rajah of Namayan and to Their nation under its new status of constituent territory. We declare that We have appointed Ourselves as the Sovereign of Our State and the Representative of the Rajah of Namayan in Our State and We shall have the full style and title of His Royal Highness, Prince of Daikoku, Duke of Nakatani, Kitakyo and Seidaikei, Representative of the Rajah of Namayan in Our State. We declare that the territories that would be under the administration of Our state shall comprise of three communes consisting of the Nakatani, which shall consist of the current territory of the city of Nakatani; the commune of Kitakyo, which shall consist of the current territory of the city of Kitakyo and the special commune of Kawashiro; and the commune of Seidaikei, which shall consist of the current territory of the city of Seidaikei. We declare that the administration of Our State shall be done by Our government which shall be seated in the commune of Nakatani. This royal rescript is made into law throughout Our State for the implementation of its contents by Our subjects through Our signature affixed at the city of Nakatani on the 7th day of the 5th month of the 1st year of Our reign, corresponding to the 4th year of Our State or to the year 2015 in the Gregorian calendar. Migs Caldeo, President of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Daikoku, issued a declaration on Wednesday night announcing the dissolution of the Republic of Daikoku.
According to the declaration, President Caldeo has dissolved the Republic of Daikoku since "[w]e can no longer maintain the current system of government enforced in [o]ur [s]tate." President Caldeo decided to replace the Republic with an absolute monarchy under its official name - the Principality of Daikoku with himself as the Prince. The declaration also stated that the autonomous status of Daikoku within the Rajahnate of Namayan shall continue, that the territories of the principality shall consist of Nakatani, Kitakyo, Kawashiro and Seidaikei which are organized into three communes, and that the new government would be based in the commune of Nakatani. The declaration, which was issued as a royal rescript of the Prince of Daikoku, was first sent to the Namayan government and was dated for its enforcement on 7 May. The Namayan government has yet to issue an official response to the declaration but has recognized the document. |
