President Caldeo introduces bills on national seal, sanctions against Kaleido in Namayan legislature2/9/2015 Migs Caldeo, President of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Daikoku and representative of the Republic of Daikoku to the Royal Assembly of Senators of the Rajahnate of Namayan, introduced two bills on Sunday and Monday.
The first bill, filed last Sunday, was on proposing a new national seal for the Rajahnate of Namayan which would consist a crowned golden double-headed eagle holding a scepter and an orb with a shield containing a golden stylized sun in a red background. The proposal for the national seal used the Byzantine double-headed eagle found on the Namayan flag and the stylized sun found on the Namayan seal. The second bill, filed Monday, was on the Rajahnate of Namayan authorizing diplomatic and economic sanctions against the Independent State of Kaleido. It contained provisions on cutting communications between Namayan and Kaleido, placing restrictions on access of Namayan and Kaleido social media forums and prohibiting business activities between Namayan and Kaleido. The bill was met with criticism by Kaleido Premier Luis Palay saying that the bill is an attempt of President Caldeo to "break the [fragile peace between Kaleido and Namayan]" and that he is "menacing again and again" with the bill. According to the Constitution of the Rajahnate of Namayan, these bills shall go to the Prime Minister for approval if 20% of the citizens of Namayan approves for the bill within a period of 14 days.
