Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - Elections to the 2nd Federal Assembly were successfully held on Saturday, with the Daikoku People's Front winning all of the seats.
The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation announced that 85 percent of the voters turned out to vote. According to the election results announced by the Presidency, the Daikoku People's Front won all four seats to the 2nd Federal Assembly with 100 percent of the votes. The Presidency also reported that there were no problems encountered during the elections. The newly-elected 2nd Federal Assembly is set to convene on November 1, 2013 to elect a new Premier of the Daikoku Federation. The Presidency has reported that online ballots have been created and that voting codes have been distributed to all voters. The Federal Defense Force has been deployed to provide security during the election. All voters have been informed of the final list of candidates. The Presidency has also reminded voters of the different election guidelines that are to be observed tomorrow. The Daikoku Federation News Service has announced that it would be covering the whole election proceedings tomorrow. Greater Treisia, TREISIA (DFNS) - The Daikoku Federation and the State of Ariana has signed a treaty on Wednesday night, which brought an end to a two-month territorial dispute between the two states. The treaty signed by the governments of the Daikoku Federation and the State of Ariana had the following provisions:
The signing of the treaty by the State of Ariana was announced in its state media. ARIUSGRAD (October 23, 2013) - The Marikina City Crises, which led to trilateral diplomatic tensions between the State of Ariana, the Daikoku Federtion, and the Republic of Kaleido, has ended last 21st October 2013 with the signing of the Daikoku-Ariana Treaty between the Daikoku Federation and the State of Ariana. Arius Raposas, Chairperson Extraordinary of the State of Ariana, and Darwin Eugenio, Chairperson Ordinary of the State of Ariana, signed the treaty in behalf of the Ariano government. The Daikoku Federation signed the treaty on October 23, 2013, 22:30, through its representatives Migs Caldeo and Karlos Luis Mozo Anioay, Co-Presidents of the Daikoku Federation. CPE Raposas and CPO Eugenio expressed their joy and delight on the resolution to the conflict, the Ariano state media reported. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation has issued a statement on the signing of the treaty. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation expresses its happiness in behalf of the Daikoku people on the signing of the treaty that ends the territorial dispute that existed between the Daikoku Federation and the State of Ariana. President-elect Luis Palay of the Republic of Kaleido issued a statement on his reaction to the treaty. I will not comment on the "outcome" of the "territorial dispute" with the Ariana and Daikoku authorities. Kaleido already severed informal and unofficial ties with them and [I] do not considered their existence, they do not exist to me. An official statement from the Republic of Kaleido is yet to be published.
The Daikoku People's Front on Monday has announced its candidates for the election to the 2nd Federal Assembly.

Daikoku Federation successfully inserts satellite into lunar orbit, probe on lunar surface10/19/2013 Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - The Daikoku Federation has successfully inserted DFS-3 Kanata satellite into lunar orbit and landed the Kanata probe on lunar surface on Sunday morning. The second stage of Unmei-2 carrying DFS-3 Kanata successfully entered lunar orbit through a burn on October 20, 2013, 4:45 hours, 8 hours, 51 minutes after launch from Ryokou Space Center. Initially inserted at a 293 km. lunar orbit, DFS-3 Kanata was further lowered to a 7 km. orbit through a second burn. DFS-3 Kanata separated from the Unmei-2 second stage at 5:26 hours. The DFS-3 Kanata satellite later separated from the Kanata probe one minute later. DFS-3 Kanata satellite is now currently orbiting the moon at an orbit with an apogee of 7.5 km., perigee of 7.3 km., inclination of 0.97 degrees, orbital period of 38 minutes, 45 seconds, and an orbital speed of 560.1 m/s. The Kanata probe, after separating from DFS-3 Kanata satellite, began its landing on lunar surface.
The Kanata probe landed on lunar surface on October 20, 2013, 6:06 hours at coordinates 0 degrees, 6 minutes, 32 seconds S, 111 degrees, 49 minutes, 7 seconds W. Scientists and technicians have reported that all systems on both satellite and probe of DFS-3 Kanata is in perfect condition, and are transmitting data back to Earth. The DFS-3 Kanata mission marks the third time the Daikoku Federation has successfully launched a space mission and it also marks the first time the Federation had sent a lunar mission. Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - The Central Committee of the Daikoku People's Front, on behalf of the entire party, has issued a decision on Sunday morning removing Patrick Xavier Silerio from the positions of General Secretary of the People's Party of Treisia, Head of Legislative Work and Head of Discipline Work.
The decision of the Central Committee comes after the successful vote of no confidence against the government of Premier Silerio last Wednesday. Member of the Central Committee Migs Caldeo temporarily took over the positions of Premier Silerio. Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - Scientists and technicians of the Daikoku Federation has successfully sent the scientific probe DFS-3 Kanata into a trajectory to the moon on Saturday evening, the Daikoku Federation News Service reported. Unmei-2 carrier rocket with payload DFS-3 Kanata was launched on October 19, 2013, 19:54 hours from the Ryokou Space Center by scientists and technicians of the 2nd South Urbonian Guards Regiment of the Federal Defense Force. Unmei-2 carrier rocket, a two-stage and 59,900 kg. rocket and a modification of the Unmei-1 carrier rocket, was launched towards an inclination of 90 degrees in order to insert its payload into its preset orbit. The four strap-on liquid-fuel boosters, a modification from the Unmei-1's two strap-on boosters, separated from the rocket two minutes and five seconds after launch and crashed into the sea 50 km. east of the Ryokou Space Center. The first stage and the payload fairing of the rocket separated at four minutes and ten seconds after launch and crashed into the sea 200 km. east of the Ryokou Space Center, with the second stage inserting the payload into its preset orbit 15 minutes and 36 seconds later after a coast to apogee and burn. The carrier rocket successfully inserted DFS-3 Kanata scientific probe into a 100.59 x 99.99 km. orbit at 20:09:36 hours, 15 minutes and 36 seconds after launch. With the DFS-3 Kanata probe in orbit, preparations for inserting the payload into a trajectory to the moon were made, and at 20:41 hours, the second stage was fired again in order to insert the payload into the desired trajectory. The burn lasted for three minutes. The DFS-3 Kanata probe is now currently in a trajectory to the moon. It is expected that two more burns are to be made in order to slow down the payload and insert it into its commissioning orbit of 7 km. above the lunar surface.
It is also expected that once reaching commissioning orbit, a lander is to be landed on the lunar surface. The scientists and technicians also reported that the payload is in good status, and it will reach lunar orbit after eight hours. Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - The governments of the Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus signed a treaty on Wednesday which established diplomatic relations between the two states. The treaty was signed by the plenipotentiaries Co-President Migs Caldeo for the Daikoku Federation and Sogmo Gaius Soergel Publicola for the State of Sandus. The document was signed in Seidaikei, the capital of the Daikoku Federation, with a duplicate being signed in Kremlum Sandus, the capital of the State of Sandus. Central District, SEIDAIKEI (DFNS) - The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation issued a decree on Thursday evening which scheduled elections to the 2nd Federal Assembly on Saturday, October 26.
The elections to the 2nd Federal Assembly were called in accordance to the provisions of the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation after the 1st Federal Assembly voted for no confidence on the government of Premier Patrick Xavier Silerio which led to the dissolution of the Federal Assembly. The Daikoku People's Front has announced that it would be participating in the elections, but they are no longer including Patrick Xavier Silerio as one of its candidates. The deputies elected to the 2nd Federal Assembly would assemble on Friday, November 1, which would coincide with the dissolution of Premier Silerio's government. |
