In behalf of the government of the Daikoku Federation, we wish all of the people of the Daikoku Federation a very happy New Year. We celebrate the coming of the New Year 2014 which much anticipation and hope, as we continuously go on the path of nation building in our Daikoku Federation. As we turn a new page in our nation's history, we happily look back at the year 2013. We shall never forget this year as this is when our Daikoku Federation came into being, as the peoples of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia and the Principality of Treisia joined hand-in-hand in fraternal unity for the common goal of nation building. We saw the year 2013 with our Daikoku Federation achieving successes and victories in the course of nation building, as our united peoples placed into action the founding principles of our state: progress, unity, and struggle. We also saw the year 2013 with our Daikoku Federation encountering several trials and difficulties, but through our own strength and will, we were able to crush through these obstacles and we are also able to create a Daikoku Federation that is more stronger and formidable than ever before. Now, we are steadily moving towards the New Year 2014, a year of great celebration for our Federation as we celebrate the first year anniversary of the founding of our Daikoku Federation. We call every Daikoku citizen to show to the world the gains of our nation building in the past year by ceaselessly moving forward towards the bright future that lies ahead of our Federation. We also call every Daikoku citizen to uphold our great motherland by giving their all into our Federation, as we rally as one people under the flag of our Federation, the symbol of our people's victory. CENTRAL DISTRICT, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Daikoku Federation went on alert on Monday after the Republic of Kaleido adopted what it calls as the "one Philippine micronation" policy as its foreign policy on Friday.
The Republic of Kaleido, in a very controversial move, adopted in a meeting by its National Assembly on Friday what it calls as the Resolution No. 1 which "[affirms] "One Philippine Micronation Policy" by President Palay and [condemns] micronations who have done unnecessary acts against the Republic of Kaleido." The State of Ariana responded to this with Darwin Eugenio, Chairperson Ordinary, saying in a statement that "this is most unfair to micronations in the Philippines that do not have an active web presence." The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation has responded with Co-President Karlos Luis Mozo Anioay saying: "This is nothing but an distasteful move by Kaleido's Government which places their country further away from its neighbors. If they'd like to continue their little fiasco, then they'd better be prepared for its consequences. I, for one, do not tolerate any violations against the Federation." Co-President Migs Caldeo has also responded, saying: "The decision of the Republic of Kaleido to adopt what they call as the "one Philippine micronation" policy is a move against the sovereignty of our Federation." The Daikoku Federation has also taken up steps against the Republic of Kaleido's latest provocation by placing the entire Federal Defense Force on alert status through a decree on Monday evening. SHIRO-SHI, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The 2nd Federal Assembly convened today for its second session in Shiro-shi, Seidaikei on Saturday morning.

The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation signed the following into federal laws, with constituent laws being made effective. RYOKOU SPACE CENTER (DFNS) - Scientists and technicians of the Daikoku Federation has successfully landed probe DFS-5 Shimakaze on the surface of the moon Minmus on Monday afternoon, according to the Daikoku Federation News Service. They also successfully inserted an orbiter in Minmus orbit. DFS-5 Shimakaze arrived in Minmus orbit on December 23, 2013, 11:56 hours after the second stage of Unmei-3 carrier rocket performed a burn to slow down the probe. Initially entering at a 266.9 km. x 49.8 km. orbit, it was further lowered to a 15.5 km. x 15.3 km. orbit by another burn performed two hours after Minmus orbital insertion. At 14:04 hours, DFS-5 Shimakaze separated from the second stage of the carrier rocket, with the Shimakaze orbiter separating from the Shimakaze lander three minutes later. DFS-5 Shimakaze lander arrived at Minmus surface on December 23, 2013, 14:37 hours, two days, 17 hours and 18 minutes after the mission began at Ryokou Space Center. The lander landed at the site with coordinates 4 degrees, 41 minutes, 53 seconds north and 267 degrees, 3 minutes and 14 seconds W. The Shimakaze lander successfully deployed its different instruments for research and started transmitting data and pictures back to Ryokou Space Center. DFS-5 Shimakaze orbiter is in a 15.5 x 15.3 km. orbit at an inclination of 157.3 degrees, with an orbital period of 40 minutes and 46 seconds. The satellite was also fitted with instruments capable of doing research, as well as data transmission from the satellite and from the lander.
The Daikoku Federation has declared the mission a "total success with objectives being achieved beyond expectations." The federal government has stated that the DFS-5 Shimakaze "reflects the determination of the people in the field of scientific research" and that the mission "has further improved our understanding of space." RYOKOU SPACE CENTER (DFNS) - Scientists and technicians of the Daikoku Federation has successfully launched DFS-5 Shimakaze probe on carrier rocket Unmei-3 towards a trajectory heading for Minmus, the Daikoku Federation News Services reported. Unmei-3 carrier rocket with payload probe DFS-5 Shimakaze was launched on December 20, 2013, 21:19 hours from the Ryokou Space Center by scientists and technicians of the 2nd South Urbonian Guards Regiment of the Federal Defense Force. The rocket was launched towards an eastern trajectory in order to insert it on a trajectory towards Minmus. The Unmei-3 carrier rocket successfully inserted payload probe DFS-5 Shimakaze at a 108.5 x 91.2 km. orbit at 21:26:04 hours, six minutes four seconds after launch. The first stage and payload fairing of the rocket detached 26 seconds later. DFS-5 Shimakaze was inserted into a trajectory towards Minmus at 21:59 hours after the second stage of Unmei-3 carrier rocket performed a burn.
DFS-5 Shimakaze is now in a trajectory towards Minmus and it is expected that the probe would enter Minmus orbit after two days. The command center at Ryokou Space Center has reported that the satellite is in good condition and all instruments are working well. The Daikoku Federation has congratulated the scientists and technicians involved in the launch of DFS-5 Shimakaze and has stated that "they had opened a new frontier for our Federation's space exploration." GREATER TREISIA, Treisia (DFNS) - The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation issued a decree on Thursday which schedules a constitutional referendum in the Principality of Treisia to be held on Friday, January 17, 2013, the same date as the presidential elections in the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia.
The constitutional referendum comes at a time when the Principality of Treisia, especially HRH Grand Prince Karlos Luis Mozo Anioay, had proposed that Treisia be elevated to the status of a kingdom. The scheduled constitutional referendum would ask the Treisian populace if they would agree on the elevation of Treisia to a kingdom, if they would want Treisia to remain a principality, or if they want another form of government. The constitutional referendum would also ask if the House of Mozo Anioay should remain the royal family of Treisia should it become a kingdom. CENTRAL DISTRICT, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Daikoku Federation News Service announced on Thursday that it would be introducing an international micronation news service and a Filipino news service.
"The DFNS is announcing today that it would be starting international and Filipino news services," the DFNS said in a press release. The DFNS is to start international and Filipino news services on Monday, December 23, 2013. CENTRAL DISTRICT, Nakatani (DFNS) - The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation issued two decrees on Monday evening which appointed former Premier of the Daikoku Federation Patrick Xavier Silerio to the position of Supreme Judge of the Daikoku Federation, and which conferred TJ Feliciano with the rank of General of the Federal Defense Force of the Daikoku Federation.
SHIRO-SHI, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Federal Cup bowling competition was held in Shiro-shi, Seidaikei Friday. The Federal Cup saw Dave Badiola of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia winning the competition after getting 133 points. Six people across the Daikoku Federation participated in the Federal Cup. They are:

NAKATANI, Urbonia (DFNS) - The 2nd Extraordinary Party Congress of the Daikoku People's Front was held on December 7-8, 2013 in Nakatani, capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia.
The 2nd Extraordinary Party Congress has unanimously adopted the "Program of the Daikoku People's Front" which had included Rhine capitalism and social market system as the economic system of Daikoku socialism. The Daikoku People's Front has also voted to replace the Party Constitution adopted on the 1st Party Congress with a decision which outlines the Daikoku People's Front's organization. According to the new organizational structure of the DPF, the Central Committee is now a collective organization, the position of General Secretary of the DPF has been removed and the position of General Secretary of local socialist movement were replaced with the position of Secretary.
