Presidency of the Daikoku Federation, Federal Government agrees to amend 2014 Constitution5/29/2014 TAKEBE, Seidaikei (DFNS) - The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation and the Federal Government of the Daikoku Federation have agreed to amend the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation (2014).
The amendment to the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation (2014) shall bring the Federal Assembly of the Daikoku Federation back to being a unicameral parliament, abolish the Federal Council and the States Council, and amend the powers of the Federal Assembly of the Daikoku Federation based on the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation (2013). According to the Presidency of the Daikoku Federation, the amendment was approved by overriding Chapter IX of the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation (2014) where an amendment requires the approval of the Federal Assembly of the Daikoku Federation and the approval of the Daikoku citizens through a referendum. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation also added that since it is impossible for Chapter IX of the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation (2014) to be applied in the current situation of the Daikoku Federation, it had decided to consult the Federal Government of the Daikoku Federation and the Federal Court of the Daikoku Federation for the approval of the amendment. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation said that the amendment regarding the Federal Assembly of the Daikoku Federation is necessary since a bicameral parliament might bring instability and inefficiency in state administration in the Daikoku Federation. The Federal Government of the Daikoku Federation and the Federal Court of the Daikoku Federation had unanimously agreed at the proposal of the Presidency of the Daikoku Federation. The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation had signed the amendment into law. The elections to the Third Federal Assembly of the Daikoku Federation are to be revised based on the new amendment.
