CENTRAL DISTRICT, Seidaikei - The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation has amended the decree "On the Election to the 1st Federal Assembly" on Saturday evening. The amendment to the decree included the changing of the number of deputies required to be elected, and the extension of candidate registration period. Full text available below. DECREE ON THE AMENDMENT OF DECREE "ON THE ELECTION TO THE 1ST FEDERAL ASSEMBLY" ARTICLE 1. The revised text of Article 2 of the Decree "On the Election to the 1st Federal Assembly" is as follows: Four deputies are to be elected to the 1st Federal Assembly. The number of deputies by constituent states are as follows: (1) Democratic People's Republic of Urbonia - 2 deputies (2) Principality of Treisia - 2 deputies ARTICLE 2. The revised text of Article 8 of the Decree "On the Election to the 1st Federal Assembly" is as follows: Any registered political party or coalition or political parties may select its official candidates at any time on or before June 15, 2013. ARTICLE 3. The revised text of Article 9 of the Decree "On the Election to the 1st Federal Assembly" is as follows: The nomination of the official candidates of a registered political party or coalition of political parties shall be personally filed by the party officers concerned or their duly authorized representatives with the Presidency not later than June 15, 2013. ARTICLE 4. The revised text of Article 11 of the Decree "On the Election to the 1st Federal Assembly" is as follows: Candidates to the election to the 1st Federal Assembly must meet the requirements of Chapter V, Article 83 of the Constitution of the Daikoku Federation and must file his certificate of candidacy before June 15, 2013.
